How to use ApHogee's two-step protein treatment

Washing hair: Before we start working here, it is important to have clean hair. Having clean hair allows protein treatments to bind better and produce better results. Use a good, gentle conditioner and towel dry your hair for best results.

Apply Treatment: After your hair is washed and dried, it's time to start the protein in your hair care. Start by dividing your hair into small sections and distributing the treatment evenly between the sections. Repeat until all of your hair is covered and saturated with the protein treatment, and use a wide-toothed comb to distribute the solution evenly throughout the hair.

Apply Heat: Once your hair is completely covered with ApHogee's Two-Step Protein Treatment, do not cover it with a plastic cap. Leave it open and apply moderate heat to your hair. As the treatment penetrates your hair and dries, your hair will become stiff. It is important not to comb or stir the hair during the drying process. A hand dryer can be used to apply heat, but do not comb or brush your hair while applying heat. Leaving the procedure in your hair for about 20-45 minutes, depending on the length and thickness of the hair, will allow the protein treatment to bind your hair and perform at its best.

Rinse: Once the protein regimen has dried on your hair and your hair feels like you've used a full bottle of hairspray to set it, it's time to rinse off the solution. Use warm water to gently rinse off the treatment. Make sure all protein treatments are rinsed off before moving on to the next step.

Apply Moisturizer: After rinsing off the protein treatment, apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer to lock in moisture.

Gently apply a balancing moisturizer to your scalp and stroke your hair to distribute it evenly throughout your hair. Leave it on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and here it is! Ready!

Tips and tricks

ApHogee's two-step protein therapy is ideal for repairing damaged hair. It can be used in conjunction with other chemical procedures, such as bleaching, to reduce hair breakage. Like every other day, bleach your hair, rinse it, and follow the protein care instructions.

You may want to use a protein treatment before coloring your hair as it can reduce color fading, especially if your hair is porous. Apply a protein treatment to your hair a week before coloring. Alternatively, you can include both in one session. After rinsing off the protein treatment, dry your hair with a towel and apply the color mixture. Rinse off the hair dye and apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer for more balanced and hydrated hair.

For chemical hair straightening, it is best to apply the treatment before or after 24 hours after applying the relaxant. Relaxation is mostly alkaline, whereas protein treatments have an acidic pH, so the scalp and hair need to wait to maintain the pH.
